2022 CONNY/USLAX Rules and Divisions
All players (boys and girls) will be registered according to CONNY Birthday ranges:
CONNY Division Team Grade US Lacrosse Age Designation Birthday Range - Born:
Senior 8th U14 03/01/07 - 06/30/08
Senior 7th U13 07/01/08 - 06/30/09
Junior 6th U12 07/01/09 - 06/30/10
Junior 5th U11 07/01/10 - 06/30/11
Lightning 4th U10 07/01/11 - 06/30/12
Lightning 3rd U09 07/01/12 - 06/30/13
Bantam K-2nd U08 & U06 07/01/13 - 06/30/14
NOTES:
Players born before their grade's oldest birthday must play up on the next oldest grade team.
8th graders born before March 1, 2005 may petition to play with their grade, and except in extraordinary
circumstances, such a petition should be granted.
Players born after their grade's youngest birthday have the option to play with their grade or with the next
lower grade.

These guidelines follow those set by US Lacrosse and are designed for the safety of all players on the field. The GYLA Board of Directors and Coaches support this ruling. All players register in their appropriate age bracket based on their birthdates.
