 K-2 LADY CUBS

  • The Lady Cubs program is open to all K, 1st and 2nd-grade girls who would like to learn the basics of lacrosse. Clinic sessions will be held indoors on Sunday mornings at Guilford High School, beginning in January and will move outdoors as soon as the weather permits. Practices will be held on weekday afternoons during the spring season with occasional scrimmages.

  • The Lady Cubs program is recommended for the beginner who would like to get a feel for the game basics, catching and throwing.  It is required that girls provide their own sticks, goggles (or helmet) and mouthguards.

  • The program will teach the basics of lacrosse in a clinic style setting, with groups rotating through teaching stations and ending with small-sided game play. Coaches will include parent volunteers, senior level club players, and current Guilford High School players.
